The First Baseman's Grumpy Fan Signing Edition

I’m so excited to be attending three signings next year where you’ll have the ability to get a signing edition of The First Baseman’s Grumpy Fan.

This is the cover that won the cover voting on social media and here on my website.

The paperback will feature red sprayed edges, a duplex cover to give the idea of end papers, and color interior formatting. It will also feature the wedding epilogue scene, which is not in standard retail editions of the book.

Stock at all three of these signings will be limited, so preordering is your best way to get a copy! Also, my cozy mystery alter ego will have books at two of the signings, so if you like mysteries with a side of sweet slow-burns, check those out too (on the same preorder form).

The First Baseman's Grumpy Fan Special Edition Paperback and Hardcover

I can’t contain my excitement anymore! The First Baseman’s Grumpy Fan is heading to Kickstarter for special paperback and hardcover editions!

Both versions will have a special outer cover with the hardcover receiving a double-sided dust jacket and the paperback getting a duplex cover to showcase the front artwork of both sides of that dust jacket. The hardcover will have a few more bells and whistles just by nature of it being a hardcover, custom end papers, for example, but I have a few ways to make the paperback special too!

As soon as I have the proof copies of both, this project is going live! I can’t wait to show you the beauties in person.

Also, there are some really awesome book box goodies for it too.

The hardcover of the special edition of The First Baseman's Grumpy Fan will have a double-sided dust jacket. The first is similar to what you'll find on the ebook and the retail version of the paperbacks, but Finn and Gale have a bit more detailing to them to be a bit more dimensional and the back is completely different with the blurb being on what I made to look like a piece of baseball leather with threads on the side. Plus the fold over parts, of course. The reverse side is the Christmas in July themed side with quotes from the book, some different imagery for both Finn and Gale, taken from scenes of the book, and a look at the snowflake making scene. Some colors might be tweaked on this side depending on how the proof comes out, but this will be close to the final either way. The paperback special edition will have the front covers of both of these on the inside of the front and back cover, respectively. Designs by Maria Rosera featuring stock and original characters.
